Halle Berry says she’s ‘doing OK’ following split

Halle Berry is weathering the Storm following her split from Olivier Martinez.

The “X-Men” star insists she’s doing fine since ending things with the French actor early last week, saying she’s currently focused on helping others instead of worrying about her hurt personal life.

“I’m doing OK, I really am,” she told Extra at a domestic violence prevention event Wednesday. “I keep pushing and I’m really pleased to be here.”

The 49-year-ancient actress and her husband of two years announced that they were divorcing on Oct. 27, calling it a “hard period” for both of them. The former couple has a 1-year-ancient son named Maceo together.

“It is with a heavy heart that we have come to the choice to divorce,” they said in a joint statement. “We go forward with like and respect for one another and the shared focus for what is best for our son.”

The separation marks Berry’s fourth high-profile split in the past two decades. The “Monster’s Ball” star was previously married to ex-MLB outfielder David Justice and R&B artist Eric Benet, and she also dated Canadian model Gabriel Aubry for five years and has a daughter with him.

Berry opened up about the split for the first time on Wednesday.

Following her latest breakup, Justice hopped on Twitter to slam his former lover and voice support for Martinez.

“Me, Eric, Gabriel and Olivier were all her ‘Knight in Bright Armor’ in anticipation of it ends,” the ex-Yankee tweeted. “Then we all become the worst guys in history.”

Benet chimed in soon after, prose: “My man at @23davidjustice is tweeting some truth dis’ mornin’!”

Justice continued his rant by denying reports claiming he once punched Berry in the ear, instead claiming that another star was the one responsible for injuring her ear years ago.

The former lovebirds finished their marriage after two years together.

“Reading the latest Halle Berry Reports, it wasn’t me who hit Halle causing the ear hurt,” he wrote Halle has never said that I hit her.”

“It was a former Hollywood boyfriend (WS) that she told me! #getyourfactsright,” he added.

Berry didn’t seem too concerned by her first husband’s outburst on Wednesday, but, instead choosing to speak about moving on from her relationship from Martinez.

“Whenever you’re going through anything in life, when you step further than yourself and focus on others,” she told Extra. “That’s always the best remedy for any situation that you’d rather not be production with.”
