Kate Mara, Max Minghella split up: report

Kate Mara has called it quits with her longtime boyfriend.

The “Household of Cards” star has broken up with Max Minghella, according to Us Weekly. The two reportedly split up after four years together because “the relationship ran its course.”

“Max and Kate have broken up and gotten back together a few times over the course of their relationship, but this one looks like it’s sticking,” the source added.

If the two have indeed split up for excellent, then it clarifies why Mara went to Monday’s Emmy Awards without Minghella as her date.

The 31-year-ancient actress also attended the Venice Film Festival this week, including hitting up the premiere of “Miu Miu Women’s Tales #7 – #8” along with Lena Dunham and Kirsten Dunst.

She and Dunham had a bonding moment when a poster from the film fell on them while they posed for photos on the red carpet.

“Best red carpet ever w/@lenadunham @MIUMIUofficial when a poster fell on our heads while we tried to be sultry…” she tweeted Thursday.
