Fashion Throwback – Jumpsuits

The jumpsuit is back. This 90’s trend is certainly a tough one and can be unflattering if not styled correctly. It may be a bit hard to pull off, but if you know what to look for it will be a breeze. When buying a jumpsuit look for a variety that works for your body type.

Garnishing can be minimal for this look but you can add a skinny belt to make a cinched waist or toss a jacket or blazer over top on cooler days. The plus about this 90’s trend is that it a quick and easy all in one outfit. You can pair with some strappy heels and head out the door.

If you are a bit wary of the trend, avoid head-to-toe release colour jumpsuits and look for contrast jumpsuits that look like a blouse and pants. Also look for jumpsuits in neutral and dark shades like black, grey and navy blue.
