Kate Bosworth Launches Her First Shoe Line In Collaboration with Matisse

Actress Kate Bosworth has put her stylish touches on a new fashion collaboration with shoe line Matisse Footwear. The star has previously worked on collections with Topshop and Jewelmint, but now she has lent her hand in the this latest fashion shoe venture.

The collection will feature ten different styles of shoes including boots, sandals, clogs and mules. The front-runners of the collection have to be the ankle boots, which are available in uncommon colours embellished with small metal stars. “The truth is, shoes have to be wearable and functional,” Kate told WWD. “There are some women who wear 7-inch stilettos and run around. That’s not me. I want to feel comfortable and also very fashionable in my life.”

Kate has incorporated elements from her life and career into the shoe designs. Her like of the Dallas Cowboys inspired the blue ankle boots (above). The football team is owned by her friend Charlotte Jones Anderson’s family as well. “Each pair has a report,” she said. “I feel I can prompt myself with a hint instead of screaming for attention.”

The collection, ranging from $ 295 to $ 505, will be released online and in stores such as Nordstrom and Revolveclothing.com in March.
