Kate Hudson, fiancé Matt Bellamy split
Kate Hudson and Matt Bellamy have pulled the plug on their engagement.
The 35-year-ancient actress and the Muse frontman split after four years together, a rep for Hudson told People magazine.
“Kate and Matt have been separated for some time now,” the spokesman said.
“Despite this, they remain very accurate friends and committed co-parents.”
Hudson and Bellamy’s last public appearance together was at her mother Goldie Hawn’s “Like In For Kids” charity event on Nov. 21.
The two got engaged in April 2011 and share 3-year-ancient son, Bingham Hawn Bellamy.
“Matt is pretty down-to-earth and pleased in England, while Kate is very L.A.-focused,” a source accurate to the couple told the Day after day News’ Confidenti@l column back in February.
“They are leading break lives. It hasn’t been effective out the way they plotted and they’ve been trying very hard for the sake of their son.”
Hudson was previously married to Chris Robinson of the Black Crowes and the former pair, who divorced in 2006, share 10-year-ancient son, Ryder.
Hudson was questioned in early 2014 on on “Live! With Kelly and Michael” if she and Bellamy had any future wedding plans.
“No, I’m plotting nothing right now,” she told the hosts.
“I’m so busy, we’ve been so busy, and it’s been splendid. I come from an activist family. … My parents aren’t married,” Hudson said, referring to her mom and her longtime like Kurt Russell.
“So there’s a part of me that goes, if I’m going to do it, I’m going to do it right. And I’m going to take the time to really plot it right …And it’s a lot. Plotting a wedding is a lot. I mean, I did a movie about plotting a wedding and that was a lot, let alone really plotting a wedding. So, no. Not anytime soon, no.”
Hudson may have already went on with dancing pro Derek Hough,
