Katrina Smirnoff, Jason Adelman engaged: report

Karina Smirnoff is ready to waltz down the aisle.

The “Dancing with the Stars” pro is engaged to her boyfriend of less than a year, Jason Adelman, according to reports.

Adelman got down on one knee over the weekend and popped the question in front of family and friends, Star magazine reports. The couple reportedly celebrated their big night with a spin around the dance floor.

This isn’t the first time the 37-year-ancient performer has been engaged. She was previously set to wed fellow “DWTS” pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy in 2009, and then MLB pitcher Brad Penny in 2011.

The Ukrainian beauty has also been open about wanting to start a family. In February of 2014, she made a series of video journals about the process of freezing her eggs which she shared with ABC News.

“My profession is dance. I’ve been concentrating on my career for a long time. And I like what I do. But I know I want to be a mother one day,” Smirnoff told ABC.

“You feel empowered by the fact that you were able to give yourself an opportunity to not have to worry about your biological timer.”
