Bobbi Kristina Brown ‘fighting for her life’: family
Whitney Houston’s daughter is “fighting for her life,” her family said in a statement Monday.
Bobbi Kristina Brown “is surrounded by immediate family,” the brief statement said. “Thank you for your prayers, well wishes, and we greatly appreciate your continued support.”
The worrying terms came as police revealed that the mystery man who was with Brown’s husband when they found the 21-year-ancient singer passed out in a bathtub Saturday was a former flame — Nick Lomas.
The incident report released by Roswell, Ga., police did not say what the 24-year-ancient Lomas, who works as a “tree climber,” was doing at the suburban Atlanta home where Brown lives.
But Lomas and Gordon, 25, are longtime friends.
Meanwhile, another family friend warned that time was not on Brown’s side.
“All we can do right now is pray,” Sammy Tawil told the Day after day News. “I think the next 24 to 48 hours, we hopefully will hear some good news and better news. She’s a fighter, she’s beyond doubt a fighter. She’s a tough little girl.”
Tawil said he’s heard no new updates since Brown, in an aching echo of her well-known mother’s tragic death, was found facedown and not breathing Saturday in the tub.
“We’re hoping that she’ll come through this,” Tawil said. “While she’s still breathing, there’s still hope. Time will tell.”
