On last night’s Mad Men premiere episode of Season 7B, we learned that Joan Harris is now ‘filthy rich’. So as any other woman would do after having a particularly terrible day at the office, Joan decided to indulge in some retail therapy. We adored this deep-V neck, velvet, feather adorned Oscar de la Renta dress, which wouldn’t look out of place at a fancy event, even in 2015.
With her curvaceous figure and fiery locks, 39-year-ancient actress Christina Hendricks looked sultry and sophisticated in the fitted frock. The statement neckline emphasized her bust, while the nipped-in waist added definition to her hourglass shape. Meanwhile, the detail around the flowing bell sleeves and hem brought a new level of elegance to a classic evening dress. The low back with its deep V complemented the shapely, feminine neckline. Joan paired the knee-length black Oscar de la Renta frock with minimal garnishing, leaving the focus on both her sleek silhouette and her gleaming rings.
We beyond doubt think Season 7B has started on a glamorous note. After all, red-haired beauty Joan has set the stage for a fashionable season ahead.
