ATLANTA (AP) — Actor and comedian Kevin Hart woke up his 19.6 million Twitter followers not with a joke but with a honest invitation for a run through Atlanta’s Piedmont Park on Friday.
“Up & at it…we are about to get this spontaneous 5K run in this morning!!!!” he tweeted.
And he made sure fans knew he wanted only those who were ready to run.
He tweeted: “I’m honest about this” and “This is about shape & challenging yourselves.”
The run was part of his partnership with Rally Shape.
More than 100 people showed up for the run and Hart told WAGA-TV he was impressed with the turnout.
Hart, who’s been in movies including “Ride Along” and “Reckon Like A Man,” is scheduled to perform Friday and Saturday nights in Atlanta.
