They deny it every chance they get, but Confidenti@l is told that Gigi Hadid and Joe Jonas are beyond doubt dating.
But, a source tells us the young lovers want different things. We hear that while the besotted pop star wants their relationship to “go to the next level” ASAP, insiders tell us the gorgeous model wants to keep things casual.
The two have been photographed together frequently — most recently at a Toronto hotel where they’re both reportedly staying — but reps for the newly minted couple have insisted they’re just friends.
Not so, says our in-the-know gossip. “They hang out and make out. They’re dating, going out to dinner,” said the source, “They’re cute and affectionate together. But it’s more of a rebound in her mind.”
“They dated a while back as well, but Gigi broke up with Joe before she started dating Cody (Simpson), ” the insider says of Hadid’s relationship with the Australian singer. “Joe always cared about her since he got dumped and thinks she’s just the most gorgeous girl.”
Simpson and Hadid, who’s an IMG model and daughter of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Yolanda Foster, have had an off-and-on relationship since spring 2014.

The DJ and one-time Jonas Brothers singer and Hadid, who has modeled for Guess, Maybelline and Sports Illustrated, were blemished together in September, a few weeks after things finished between Hadid and Simpson and Jonas and Blanda Eggenschwiler, also a model.
The dating rumors flared up again last week when the gorgeous blond pretended to bite the singer’s ear in a photo-booth snap at the CFDA Awards after-have fun.
“Joe really wants to go forward to the next level — being a honest boyfriend/girlfriend,” adds the insider. “But she says that she just got out of a relationship so she’s not ready — but he’s in like with her.”
“He sends her flowers and says how hot she is and discussion about her all the time,” adds the source, “He thinks she’s gorgeous and wants to date her exclusively. She just wants to have fun and casually date. His friends think she’s going to break his heart.”
Reps for Jonas declined to note. Reps for Hadid didn’t restore our calls.
