Ariana Grande was a no show at a scheduled appearance at a charity in New York because she was terrified of “catching Ebola,” Confidenti@l can exclusively report.

The nonprofit charity threw its annual gala Wednesday night at Cipriani Wall St., with all proceeds providing education for kids in developing countries. Grande had formerly been included on the list of celebrities slated to attend.

“Everybody got there and was waiting for her to arrive and she was also supposed to be a bolt from the blue musical guest,” one guest tells us. “No one was told she wasn’t coming, when I overheard organizers say she’s not coming, she doesn’t want to come. She’s worried of fleeting because of Ebola.’”

Organizers confirmed that the ponytailed pop star missed the event due to “a scheduling conflict.”

Grande’s cancellation comes in the wake of an Ebola scare in Manhattan, after it was revealed Craig Spencer, a doctor who has the deadly disease, rode the subway, walked The High Line, went to a Brooklyn bowling alley, a composition club and took an Uber from Williamsburg to Harlem. Spencer, 33, who works for Doctors Without Borders, had been treating Ebola patients in the West African country of Guinea and returned to New York on Oct. 17.

And while city officials tried to keep a lid on public hysteria — Grande was freaking out that the deadly virus could spread to a charity event in lower Manhattan.

It was not clear where Grande was on the night of the event, as she had no other scheduled appearances and didn’t update her Twitter or Instagram feeds the entire day.

The bratty diva’s administrator Scooter Braun did attend the event, Instagramming a picture and captioning it: “#familytime.” It did not include Grande. But who needs her? The event raised over $ 2 million despite her absence.

Meanwhile, Sophia Bush, an avid Pencils of Look excellent advocate, was also a no show at the swanky gala. Bush, who has worked with the charity for years, left photographers waiting as they were told she was coming to walk the red carpet.

“Photographers don’t leave red carpets, and this time they did,” another partygoer tells us. “They felt put out. If you’re told people are coming and they don’t, it’s a waste of everyone’s time.”
