Babu Owino’s Ksh15M SONU Elections Campaign Budget

Babu Owino is the current chairman of the Students Organization of Nairobi University and it took quite a lot of money for him to get there. He is plotting to vie for the position for the third time in April 2015. According to his campaign administrator he has a budget of Ksh15 million just for that election.

Babu said the money will be fund-raised through the students and other various well wishers. A huge bulk of the cash will be spent on hiring other students as security, roadshow trucks, mini-vans and various social media campaigns.
