Chelsea Handler’s in bare market with Bill Cosby tale

The cover of the new Esquire has Chelsea Handler nude with Nick Offerman. In the mag, she says she could’ve finished up in the raw with Bill Cosby, too. “He tried to Cosby me,” Handler recalls of an incident 10 years ago when she and the disgraced comic were in the same Atlantic City hotel. “Someone from the hotel came down and said, ‘Oh, you know, Mr. Cosby would really like to meet you up in his hotel suite.’ ” Handler brought friends along, which she thinks may have saved her from being one of Cosby’s alleged sex-assault victims. “He’s guilty,” Handler says. “I think it’s pretty evident now.”

RUMORFIX IS HEADING OUT OF SITE

RumorFix is broken. Confidenti@l is told the website set up by Dr. Phil’s son to police celebrity gossip has laid off its entire staff and is expected to be shuttered soon. Our sources say that editor-in-chief Richard Ayoub, who left gossip site Radar to head the “anti-tabloid” RumorFix when it launched, has been shown the door along with his reporting staff. The handful of freelancers who work on the site also have been told to find other work. “On Friday everyone was told that they’re wrapping up within a week,” a source told us. Another source confirmed the terminations but called the site’s future “uncertain.”

TV producer Jay McGraw, son of the well-known TV psychologist, founded RumorFix in 2010 partly in response to persistent but inaccurate tabloid tales predicting his parents’ divorce. It was bought by digital media group Hutch Media, which owns several lifestyle sites, in May last year. At the time Hutch title-holder Jimmy Hutcheson said, “We intend to maintain the integrity of the brand, integrate RumorFix into Hutch Media’s platform, grow revenues, and expand the audience distribution footprint of RumorFix.” But we’re told his relationship with Ayoub was never very warm in a union that has lasted less than a year. Calls to Ayoub and Hutch Media were not returned.

CODY, GIGI SIZZLE IN RAP SESSION

Cody Simpson doesn’t mind if his girlfriend giggles when he gets naked. The Australian musician stripped down with his supermodel honey, Gigi Hadid, for photographer Mario Testino’s “Towel Series,” which appeared on Instagram on Friday. “It was hard to be honest,” Simpson tells The News’ Jeanette Settembre. He and Hadid posed nude except for a shared towel. “We were laughing most of the time,” he said. Simpson’s album “Free” will be out this summer, and he performs at Bowery Ballroom on April 6.

MILIAN & LIL WAYNE DO PUBLIC RELATIONS

Uncommon strokes for different folks, as they say. Christina Milian and Lil Wayne appear to be taking their relationship public, holding hands while leaving a film set in Hollywood on Wednesday. In the May issue of Latina magazine, Milian said the troubled rapper is her “man crush,” and that they have a very “special relationship.”

At least one member of the Williams family is having a good time. “Girls” star Allison Williams took her adorable new puppy out for a walk this week. Williams introduced her Instagram followers to Moxie on Monday, prose, “In honor of #NationalPuppyDay, meet the new member of my family, Moxie. … My heart bursts for this lady.” Williams adopted her from Animal League.

Here’s a “Sex and the City” episode we would like to have seen — Carrie Bradshaw turns 50! And by the looks of it, Tom Hanks and the Los Angeles Kings played the role of have fun poopers. Sarah Jessica Parker, who turned the big five-0 on Wednesday, spent her last night as a 49-year-ancient at MSG giving Hanks the dirty eyeball as his favorite team gave her Rangers a 4-2 beating. She was even blemished catching up on her reading during some of the game’s slower moments.

Is Carl’s Jr. the new “America’s Next Top Model”? the burger joint started the year by introducing the world to Charlotte “the new Kate Upton” McKinney in a winning Super Bowl ad. For an encore, Carl’s Jr. has rolled out a red-hot campaign featuring Portuguese beauty Sara Sampaio, posing with an enourmous burger that could likely turn her into a modeling sensation overnight. Sampaio was named “Rookie of the Year” in the last SI swimsuit issue.

KIMMEL IS MAN WITH VAN

And the TV will rock. Mercurial band Van Halen will perform on network television for the first time since original singer David Lee Roth rejoined the group in 2006. The guitar rockers, who formed in 1972, are booked to appear on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on March 30 and 1. After a fleeting rest, they’ll play again on “Ellen” on April 2.

Comedian Jim Norton says Kanye West should pick on somone his own size. “He’s a horse’s ass,” says Norton, who’ll perform at the Borgata in Atlantic City on July 10 and 11. “He picks on easy targets. He went after Taylor Swift, then Beck. … How about you bother a bigwig who weighs more than 120 pounds, like Rick Ross? Would he interrupt Rick Ross? He’s not going to disrespect anyone who has a right hook.”

ROBERTS BEEFS UP PARTY

Julia Roberts celebrated the birthday of her longtime publicist Marcy Engelman at chic Midtown steak joint Strip Household Monday night. The “Pretty Woman” star joined several other guests for the bash and a Confidenti@l spy said “the whole desk seemed to catch her contagious laugh as the have fun got more lively throughout the evening.” Engelman has been Roberts’ flack for 17 years.
