Ed Sheeran has confused fans about whether he really has a huge lion tattooed on his chest.

It appears Ed Sheeran wasn’t lyin’ about his lion tattoo, after all.

The “Thinking Out Loud” singer provided seemingly irrefutable evidence that he does in fact have an enormous lion inked on his chest by posting an enlightening shirtless photo on Instagram Saturday.

Last month, the British songster shocked fans when he shared an Instagram snapshot of the startlingly large tattoo — which he got to commemorate selling out his three shows at London’s massive Wembley Stadium.

Two weeks later, but, Sheeran posted another photo of his chest, this time without the eye-popping ink.

“Was only joking about the lion,” he captioned the picture.

He then shared another photo soon after that revealed half the tattoo, with the other half appearing to be covered up with makeup.

The singer appeared to finally authenticate that the lion tattoo is real with this Instagram snapshot on Saturday.

So unknown knew what to believe.

But Sheeran appears to have put the mystery to rest with his latest post — a photo of him sitting in the car, without a shirt, lion very much present on his chest.

Sheeran formerly posted a selfie on the photo-sharing app of himself wearing a cowboy hat to jokingly advertise his fake new album, “Beer, boots and boobs.”

He then posted the second selfie, this time dressed down to his boxers, to promote the album’s “stripped down version.”

Some fans may be disappointed Sheeran isn’t really releasing his first country LP, but at least they can sleep at night knowing his outrageous tattoo is real.
