Fashion Legend Diane Von Furstenberg is Bringing Her Brand To Reality TV

2014 Vanity Fair Oscar Party Hosted By Graydon Carter

It’s been a busy year for designer Diane Von Furstenberg. The designer celebrated 40 years of the iconic wrap dress and, just last week, was awarded the Fashion Group Global’s Superstar Award. DVF is unstoppable.

She’s still hard at work, with 2014 not quite over yet. Yesterday she released two books in one day! Her chronicle, The Woman I Wanted to Be, which includes a tribute to her mother, a holocaust survivor; and a coffee desk book Journey of a Dress that illustrates the history of her career and celebrates the forty-year journey of the iconic wrap dress.

This Sunday, her highly anticipated reality-TV show,  Household of DVF, will premier on E! In this series, eight young women will compete to be the first-ever DVF global brand ambassador.

“We wanted to teach girls to be brand ambassadors, and I formerly plotting doing reality TV was tacky—I didn’t like that type of television,” clarified Furstenberg on her new docu-series. “But when I could be a producer and have control and make sure everything was absolutely real, it was fascinating to me. We incorporate the girls naturally, it’s not staged or set up. I wanted to pass along an empowering, real message.”

Be sure to watch Household of DVF Sunday, November 2nd at 10 pm on E! Watch a sneak preview here!
