There is no like like a daughter has for her father.

Janet Jackson, 49, has reportedly brought her tour prep to a halt in order to be beside her father, Joe Jackson, after he had a stroke over the weekend according to Entertainment Tonight.

The singer, whose tour is set start Aug. 31, allegedly has made plans to be with her dad in anticipation of he is in a more stable shape up.

Jermaine Jackson took to Twitter to give an update to fans on his the status of the talent administrator.

“Thank you for you & prayers for our father,” he wrote. “Following a heart procedure, he remains in hospitals where he’s doing “extremely well.” Doctors say cardiac arrest followed a mini-stroke.”

“Thankfully, brain scans show it’s “not as terrible as first feared. We owe a huge debt of gratitude to the wonderful surgeons, doctors and nurses at the Albert Einstein hospital in Sao Paulo.”

Janet just debuted a video for her new release “No Sleep” featuring J. Cole Friday.

The new composition is part of her plans to release an album for the first time since her 2008 record “Discipline.”
