Jason Derulo and crew encounter turbulence on Southwest

Jason Derulo broke his silence about his tussle with Southwest Airlines over the weekend, which resulted in his entire entourage getting booted from a flight. The “Talk Dirty” singer told The News’ Jim Farber he was most upset with the media impression that he was “being self-satisfied” and “arrogant” with workers on the money off airline. “If that’s not the humblest s— in the world, to glide Southwest, I don’t know what is,” Derulo fumed. “It’s a bulls— a– airline. How you going to call me arrogant and I’m fleeting Southwest in the same sentence? It’s an oxymoron. “

According to Derulo, the distress started when Southwest refused to provide an escort to guide him through security to the gate in Reno, which is customary for celebrities to avoid making a scene from fan attention. The star admits “there were some terms back and into the world,” and that “there was a confrontation” between someone in his have fun and airline personnel. But he said he was surprised when he boarded the plane and he and his entire group were thrown off. Southwest issued a statement saying the group refused to follow boarding procedures. “I’ll tell you what,” Derulo told the News, “I’m going to buy a jet so I don’t have all these problems.”

MCCARTHY GETS ‘WIVES’ PROPOSAL
