Keira Knightley And More Best Dressed At TIFF 2014

The best dressed at the Toronto Global Film Festival is never a fleeting list. Celebrities on the red carpet brings out fashion’s best from everyone and this year was no uncommon. While the ride out was unpredictable, ranging from downpours on poor Naomi Watts to windstorms that blew around Keira Knightley’s dress, actors attended their premieres in style. Here are the best dressed from TIFF 2014.

Keira Knightley

"The Imitation Game" Premiere - Red Carpet - 2014 Toronto International Film Festival

While we loved Keira’s navy Michael Van Der Ham dress that she wore to her Laggies premiere, this white Chanel number is the winner for us. Worn to The Imitation Game premiere, the gorgeous fleeting sleeved, embroidered dress with a silk tulle skirt proves that you can wear white after Labour Day – if it’s Chanel.

Reese Witherspoon

Screening of Wild During the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival

On the red carpet for Wild, Reese stunned in this black Saint Laurent dress. Letting the dress do all the work, the southern actress styled it with a bold red lip and side-swept hair.

Chloe Grace Moretz

Screening of The Equalizer During the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival

Chloe certainly knows how to rock a red carpet. The Equalizer actress wore a gorgeous Christian Dior couture gown. The embroidered off white and dark blue silk dress with an asymmetrical detailing was styled perfectly with silver metallic ankle-strap heels and not a release piece of jewelry. Simple is often the best.

Naomi Watts

"While We're Young" Premiere - Arrivals - 2014 Toronto International Film Festival

For the While We’re Young premiere, Naomi took a chance on this long-sleeved Antonio Berardi gown with dramatic waistline detailing and nailed it. We like the vibrant purple and the belt and pocket details are just icing on the cake.

Jessica Chastain

"Miss Julie" Premiere - 2014 Toronto International Film Festival

Christian Dior makes another appearance on our list, this time on Jessica Chastain for the Miss Julie premiere. The full skirt and diaganol print styled with a kicky ponytail make for a fun red carpet look.

Sarah Gadon

"Maps To The Stars" Premiere - Arrivals - 2014 Toronto International Film Festival

The Canadian actress grabbed our attention in this blue, three-quarter sleeve floral print shirtdress with floral print from Antonio Marras. While the dress is lovely, we really like Sarah’s sleek bun, Merlot lips and blue eyeshadow makeup that accent the dress perfectly.
