London Fashion Week Designers To Watch
New York Fashion Week is over, but that just means more fashion shows are commencement. London Fashion Week brings a whole new group of designers to the front position and we can’t wait to see what they bring to the Spring 2015 collections. Here are the designers to watch at LFW 2014.
Thomas Tait
With athletic wear being a key trend at NYFW, we’re excited to see Thomas Tait’s take on it at London Fashion Week. Now that the London-based Canadian has won the VMH Prize for Young Fashion Designers, we’re stoked to see what Spring 2015 will bring.
Shrimps – Hannah Weiland
Weiland’s take on faux-fur has opened our eyes on what can be done with the material. For LFW 2014, we’re expecting more fur, but we’d also like to see her take on the Americana feel at Coach we saw at NYFW.
Simone Rocha
Simone Rocha’s designs for her Fall 2014 collection were already on point for spring thanks to the plaid prints and crop tops. Now all eyes will be on her innovative texture and fabric play for spring 2015.
Osman
Osman Yousefzada used a lot of prints and hand-painted patterns for his Fall 2014 line. With graphics being such a big hit for spring 2015, we wouldn’t be surprised if we saw more of the same from Osman. The question is, how will he mix it up?
David Koma
We didn’t put him on our designers to watch in 2014 list for nothing: David Koma is certainly a stand-out. His cut-out designs are always unique, but we can’t wait to see what he brings to London Fashion Week.
