Rhianna Lands New Puma Creative Director Role

She’s had collaborations with MAC Cosmetics and has her own fragrances. She’s modeled for Gucci, Emporio Armani and Balmain, and done a collection with British high-road retailer River Island. Now Rihanna has been tapped as creative director for Puma.

The the trendsetter and hitmaker announced her new partnership on Twitter and Instagram today, which sees her take the helm of the sporting goods maker’s women’s line. As part of a multi-year partnership with the activewear firm, Rihanna is set to take on Puma’s fitness and training line, including apparel as well as shoes.

The singer will also act as the company’s global brand ambassador, and will appear in Puma’s fall 2015 ad campaign.

“[Rihanna's] global profile, her charisma and individuality, her ambition – all these things make her a perfect
ambassador for our brand,” said Puma’s chief executive officer Bjørn Gulden.

We’re excited to see what comes from the collaboration. The singer is known for her daring outfits and bold looks, and can make even sweatpants look high fashion. We can’t wait to see what the collection brings!
