Teenage girls aren’t the only ones upset by the recent news that Zayn Malik has made an exit from One Management—Ryan Reynolds is too.
The actor answered a question from a Twitter follower that said, “How sad are you about Zayn leaving One Management?”
“I refuse to believe this,” Reynolds responded, pretending to be distraught about the news. “That’s like Taylor Swift leaving Taylor Swift.”
The “Green Lantern” star wasn’t the only celebrity who has joked about mourning the boy band’s announcement.
Billy Eicher told E! that he was “devastated” by the news.
“This is the first time I’ve left my household since then. I’ve been at a vigil all week long, a candlelight vigil,” he joked.
Malik announced last week that he would be leaving the band One Management, causing fans to panic.
“I am leaving because I want to be a normal 22-year-ancient who is able to relax and have some private time out of the focus,” the singer said in a statement.
