Diddy or didn’t he?

Rap mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs was arrested on assault charges Monday after getting into a corporal confrontation with UCLA strength and conditioning coach Sal Alosi, but sources claim the real tough is Alosi.

The Long Island native with a history of terrible behavior reportedly targeted Diddy’s son, Justin Combs, throughout the defensive back’s three-year the high classes career, TMZ reported.

Alosi was “verbally abusive to the extreme — publicly humiliating Diddy’s son on numerous occasions,” a source told TMZ.

The breaking point allegedly came when Alosi, overseeing offseason workouts at the Los Angeles campus for the Pac-12 Conference football power, told the young Combs to get off the field and go home for the summer.

When Diddy showed up at Alosi’s office looking for answers, the meeting quickly devolved, a source told the Day after day News. The 45-year-ancient Combs swung a kettlebell at Alosi, according to police.

Campus police held Diddy, who was later exciting by LAPD with three counts of assault with a deadly stick, one count of making terrorist threats and one count of battery.

“It was self-defense. Terms were exchanged, but the coach is the one who escalated everything with corporal friend,” the source told The News.

The 38-year-ancient Alosi was a Hofstra University football player in 1999 when he was one of eight people accused assaulting three students in a dorm room, Newsday reported.

He pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of misdemeanor harassment.

As strength and conditioning coach for the New York Jets in 2010, Alosi infamously tripped a Miami Dolphins player on the field during a game.

He landed at UCLA in 2012.
