See Target’s New Designer Collaboration With Adam Lippes

For fashionistas who like buffalo plaid, it looks like Target’s latest designer collaboration with Adam Lippes just may be a perfect fit. The 42-year-ancient American designer has announced the launch of a new collection exclusively for the retailer, which will hit the shelves on September 27.

Lippes shared an image of the Target logo for his collection on his official Instagram account. The red and black plaid symbol on a black and white social class pretty much defines the colour palette for this latest fashion venture.

In terms of the Adam Lippes for Target collection itself, the 50-piece line will include everything from belted jackets to flowing tunic tops. In fact, chic patterned dog beds and home accents also have a place in the collection, all keeping right to the designer’s bold plaid theme.

With Target already introducing a collaboration with Lilly Pulitzer in April and another line with garnishing designer Eddie Borgo in May, the Lippes line is its latest designer partnership. The budget-friendly line will offer clothing under $ 130, and both garnishing and footwear priced under $ 50.

Here’s a closer look at Lippes’ upcoming styles for the retailer. While we’re not sure if we would wear plaid head to toe, a few of the printed pieces can be incorporated into Fall 2015 wardrobes. With black and white patterns reigning supreme this year, a hint of plaid certainly captures the looks on the runways.
