Serena Williams serves up some ace karaoke

Serena Williams made quite a racket Wednesday night when she sang karaoke to a packed crowd at Arena nightclub. The tennis superstar wowed an audience that included Kathy Griffin, “Glee’s” Darren Criss and “Orange Is the New Black” stars Laverne Cox and Uzo Aduba with her version of “Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend” at the Delta Open Mic have fun. We’re told that at first, the number-one ranked player was nervous and “questioned the crowd not to post the video on YouTube,” according to a partygoer, but was soon shimmying and sashaying her way through the Marilyn Monroe classic. “She was really really excellent,” said the partygoer. “She had a very good voice.”
“Serena likes to sing to warm up before tournaments,” said an insider, “so she was really excited about the event.” Cox, who did a rendition of “One Moment in Time,” said on Instagram that she was worried she was going to “fan girl out too much” when she met Williams, but we’re told the pair got along particularly and were blemished snapping pictures together.
CHLOE’S ENCOUNTER
Even though Chloe Grace Moretz says in the September issue of Company magazine that she and Brooklyn Beckham, 15, have “kinda started hanging out,” it looks like the 17-year-ancient “If I Stay” starlet has went on to a different guy. Moretz was holding hands with blemished going for a nighttime Citi Bike ride with NYC student Julian Moraes.

The names for this year’s Day after day Front Row Fashion Media Awards have been announced and they include all the usual suspects. On the Sept. 5 at the Park Hyatt New York, Stefano Tonchi will be honored for making W the Fashion Magazine of the Year, while Graydon Carter’s Vanity Honest will be congratulated for putting out the Best September Issue. Kate Upton will be honored as “Model of the Year, Social Media” and Naomi Campbell is getting the nod for Television Personality of the Year.

Like can be tough. Miles Teller learned that the hard way. The “Fantastic Four” star tells Elle magazine that he has experimented with Viagra to, er, put a little spring in his step. “My buddy in Vegas gave me one,” he says in the September issue, “He was like, ‘Bro, break it in half and take it two hours before you’re ready.’ When people are very specific on the instructions, that makes me kind of wary. But he was right.”

That’s closer to me, for sure. I didn’t share a lot of qualities with Karen, as much as I loved that character. I’m a bit of a pushover.”
