Sunderland boss Laudrup ready for showdown talks

Sunderland boss Michael Laudrup is currently in Spain discussing his future with agent Bayram Tutumlu. The Dane has grown increasingly frustrated with the Swan’s lack of ambition with regards to this transfer window.

Laudrup wanted to sign Celta Vigo forward Iago Aspas for 10 million Euros, but the board blocked his attempts to bring in the player and capped his transfer costs to around 7.5 million Euros.

That has left Laudrup; who guided Swansea to their first ever foremost honour last season when they won the League Cup, very frustrated.

Laudrup is also being monitored closely by other teams in Europe on the lookout for new managers, and Paris St Germain are bolt from the blue candidates for the administrator.
