Sheridan Smith forced to pull out of her lead role in Funny Girl musical after contracting the mumps following two month leave of absence for ‘stress and exhaustion’

Sheridan Smith has fallen ill with the mumps virus  The 35 year old actress was mandatory to abandon the tour as a precaution after contracting the contagious viral infection.  The Amusing Girl musical is on tour in anticipation of 19 August and has a seven-date run at Cliffs Pavilion in Southend, Essex.
