Remember when celebrities were allowed to look pregnant? Exactly, you probably don’t. Thanks to the glammed-up moms-to-be of the last decade, like Jenna Dewan Tatum, Amber Rose, Kelly Rowland, and Kim and Kourtney of the Kalifornia Kardashians, pregnancy is no longer an defense to let yourself go.

These days, it’s all about curve-clinging boyfriend jeans, bodycon red carpet dresses, and sheer lace ensembles with only a few dainty appliqués casing your ladybits (hi, Kim). But back in the ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s, even the largest superstars were given a glamour pass while they were expecting.
