Willow Smith goes ‘topless’ in Instagram photo

Willow Smith is the latest star to be embroiled in a topless Instagram controversy — despite keeping her clothes on.

The teen daughter of Will and Jada Pinkett Smith recently changed her profile photo to a shot that seemed to show her topless.

While some fans were concerned the 14-year-ancient was indulging in risqué behavior, Smith was simply wearing a shirt designed to look like a naked woman’s body. According to Stylelite, the top is a vintage Jean Paul Gaultier design.

While Smith didn’t really break Instagram’s no-nudity plot, other stars have bared it all in protest of the controversial rule.

Miley Cyrus and Scout Willis are among the celebs who have posted topless photos as part of the “free the nipple” campaign, while Chelsea Handler has posted multiple topless photos, including a side-by-side topless shot of her and Vladimir Putin, whose removal from Instagram she called “sexist.”
