2014 Emmys Trend Alert: Red, Coral And Everything In Between

It wasn’t just the show itself that stole media headlines this morning — but also the attendees who donned fabulous dresses on the red carpet. Like the award show itself, which saw Breaking Terrible as the constant winner, there were some pretty consistent trends on the red carpet, too, with red and coral (and everything in between) being the centre of attention during arrivals.

Mad Men stars Christina Hendricks and January Jones look like they may have coordinated in matching scarlet ensembles. Hendricks opted for a Marchesa red satin gown while Jones looked picture perfect in her Prabal Gurung ensemble.

Heidi Klum kept it simple and matched her Zac Posen gown with her date — Zac Posen himself.

Huge Bang Theory’s Kaley Cuoco changed her hue up a little with fun layers of tulle and applique. She wore Monique Lhullier.

Minnie Driver kept with the dropped neckline of the MTV VMAs that took place the night before. The actress stunned onlookers in a gorgeous Marchesa dress, paired with Stuart Weitzman shoes, and topped off with Fred Leighton jewelry.

Sarah Hyland kept her outfit age appropriate and trendy with a two piece outfit. The Modern Family star opted for a coral skirt and a white crop top — and she looked fantastic!

Giuliana Rancic wowed on the red carpet. The E! host looked incredible in a strapless Gustavo Cadile dress, which she paired with Christian Louboutin heels and Forevermark diamonds.

There were some ladies who didn’t manage to pull theirs off. Case and point, Lena Dunham. The Girls creator opted for a light pink button-up paired with a gigantic layered, Prada creation.
