50 Cent fails to provide financial records at sex tape trial

Curtis Jackson, aka 50 Cent, appears in Manhattan Supreme Court on Tuesday to testify in the trial where a jury found he violated a woman’s civil rights by posting her sex tape.

He put her sex tape online for the world to see, but 50 Cent won’t bare his assets for Lastonia Leviston.

The supposedly broke rapper ignored a court order to turn over detailed financial records and five years worth of his tax returns, the judge presiding over Leviston’s civil trial against the “Southpaw” star revealed Thursday.

Instead, he turned over a two-page document from his business management company that put his net worth at $ 4.4 million. He also submitted a draft copy of his 2014 tax returns.

“The response is woefully inadequate,” Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Paul Wooten said, and “highly prejudicial” to Leviston’s case.

The supposedly broke rapper ignored a court order to turn over detailed financial records and five years worth of his tax returns, the judge revealed Thursday.

A jury already found Fitty, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, should pay Leviston $ 5 million for violating her civil rights and causing her emotional distress by posting the video — perfect with his own crude commentary — online.

The same jury is now weighing punitive hurts against the “In Da Club” rapper in a part of the trial that was delayed by his bolt from the blue personal bankruptcy filing last week.

Jackson, 40, testified on Tuesday, and told jurors his high-fleeting hip-hop lifestyle was just an act — that his high-priced jewelry were all loaners, and his fleet of luxury cars were all rentals or leased.

“It’s entertainment,” he said of his image.

Lastonia Leviston won a $ 5 million judgment against Jackson over the sex tape.

But Leviston’s lawyer, Philip Freidin, got him to acknowledge he’d inked deals worth more than $ 250 million over the last decade.

An accountant for Jackson’s management firm took the stand on his behalf on Thursday, but acknowledged that she’s never really spoken to the Effen Vodka pitchman, and seemed to be in the dark about many of his business dealings.

Questioned how much money he makes for executive producing the TV show “Power,” the accountant, Mai Pho, said, “I don’t know.”

Fitty says he’s broke and his high-fleeting hip-hop lifestyle is just an act.

Questioned how much money he got from a recent underwear endorsement deal, she said didn’t know if he had made anything yet.

Freidin pointed to the company’s ad campaign.

“He’s posing in his underwear. He’s not doing that for free, is he?” Freidin pressed.

“No,” she answered.

She also played up that he had a $ 1 million finance on his sprawling Connecticut mansion – but when questioned if she was attentive that Fitty had recently listed the material goods for $ 11 million, she said she wasn’t.

Pho said he currently has over $ 20 million in liabilities, and that she hadn’t known he was challenging the largest debt – an $ 18 million verdict that’s currently on appeal.

Pho is the last witness in the Leviston case, which is expected to go to the jury Thursday afternoon.
