How about breakfast, lunch and a couple of simple-to-make appetizers at Tiffany’s? Audrey Hepburn’s son, Luca Dotti — whose new book, “Audrey at Home,” shares secrets from his mom’s life and her kitchen — tells Confidenti@l that the “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” actress used food to keep her family together amid her busy careers as a star and philanthropist.

“She loved to cook. She always gave me — and this is the reason why I like cooking myself — the impression that cooking for a family was a splendid privilege and a splendid moment of happiness,” Dotti, her second and youngest son, tells Confidenti@l. “Sitting around in the kitchen, considering each other cooking, being proud of each additional’s success.”

Dotti reveals that his iconic mother was more about “day-to-day life” than glitz and glamour, and says that intimacy to her was bringing her family around the desk.

“Because of her career she had to travel a lot and finally she was able to reconstruct a home and family, something she had lost during the war and was never able to reformat because her career happened,” he says.

The author, whose book combines a biography with some of the star’s favorite recipes like chocolate cake and spaghetti pomodoro, says Hepburn’s right personality came out in the kitchen.

“She was a weird combination of sweet and tenacious. My mother was very, very good at finding the sweetest possible way to have her own way,” said Dotti, 45, who is Hepburn’s son with second husband Andrea Dotti. “For occasion, through the years my brother and I were laughing because she was consistently asking us what we wanted for dinner. So we would tell her and she would say, ‘Oh, wouldn’t it be better if we had this and that.’ And we went, ‘Mum if you want to cook that just say so!’ ”

While the book explores the recesses of the Oscar winner’s pantry, Dotti says that public fascination with her particularly thin frame stirred too much focus on her diet. The book was a way to answer questions about what Hepburn ate.

“A lot of people think my mother didn’t eat at all,” he told us. “She was skinny, but the reason was … the war, ballet classes; not at all by the fact that she was on diets.”

Dotti is currently battling his half-brother, Sean Ferrer, in court over heirlooms left to them by their mother. He said of the dustup, “I cannot really note on that, but it’s a small report.” He added: “Like all families, there are quarrels, but it’s part of being accurate.”

MIRREN WINS THE ‘GOLD’ MEDAL

Helen Mirren received a special honor from the World Jewish Congress on Friday for her role in the new film, “Woman in Gold,” in which she plays an Austrian-American woman who battled the Austrian regime to reclaim Gustav Klimt paintings that were stolen from her family by the Nazis during World War II. Mirren received the award in front of Klimt’s “The Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer I,” now housed at New York’s Neue Galerie and the basis of the film. On hand to support the actress were Ronald Lauder and Harvey Weinstein.

AMBROSIO CLEARLY IN HOT WATER

Alessandra Ambrosio even manages to swim sexy. The Victoria’s Bolt from the blue beauty threw on a black-and-white-striped two-piece and took a dip in the ocean in Rio de Janeiro during a break from filming the Brazilian soap opera “Verdades Secretas.” She was a bit more covered up for her dip, since she went fully nude for her scenes in the standard show — and looked splendid doing it.

‘DETECTIVE’ PRETTY CON-VINCE-ING

Vince Vaughn discussion about his new role in HBO’s “Right Detective,” saying he loved season one of the show. “It wasn’t that I was so interested in TV — it was really about ‘Right Detective,’” he tells Cigar Aficionado. “The quality of the characters and the storytelling — they’re incredible. It’s fun to dive into something the caliber of this. What’s fascinating about this kind of storytelling is that, with eight parts to tell it and that’s all, you’ve got a long time to investigate the report.”

Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora says he’s only had writer’s block once in his career.

SAMBORA KNOWS HIS WRITES

Richie Sambora says that luckily, he has only had writer’s block once in his career. “I only had it once in my life. Once, thank God,” he told Confidenti@l at the Songwriters Hall of Fame Induction Awards Gala in New York.

The experience was “like you’re almost frightened to approach the instrument, so you’re just going to start banging on things. I play piano, guitar, a ton of other stuff,” said Sambora. “I just started walking around my household (he mimes a banging movement), and then stuff started to come, so I’ve been lucky in my songwriting career not to have had that” any more.

Sambora, who had a romance with Cher starting in 1989, says he has fond memories of living with the singing legend. “We lived together for two years,” he says. “There were so many (memories). I was on the road with her and we would always play together. She’s a very intellectual woman. I think our conversations … I was only 28 years old at the time and she was 43. But I’m a conversationalist, I like to read books and all that kind of stuff. We had a very cool, conversational relationship.”

As for the terrible press he’s received lately (he’s in a dispute with former partner Nikki Lund), Sambora tells us, “the truth is the best defense.”

PRETTY STIFF PERFORMANCE

He’s back. “Terminator Genisys” star Arnold Schwarzenegger takes a selfie with the movie’s animatronic robot during a photo call for the blockbuster. Schwarzenegger, sucking on a cigar and looking pleased, was in Paris while a trailer for the action packed franchise was released.

HARRY’S GOING DUTY-FREE

He may not be the heir, but there’s nothing terrible about this spare. The cute and charming Prince Aggravate takes a rest at an observation post in southern Afghanistan, where he was with the British armed forces. Aggravate is switching from the service to helping wounded warriors get on the road to recovery.

‘THRONES’ RULES FOR LONGORIA

Eva Longoria tells Confidenti@l that while she has seen some episodes of “Orange Is the New Black,” her real TV obsession is “Game of Thrones.” The actress was questioned about what she likes to splurge on at Svedka Vodka’s Grapefruit Jalepeño Summer Fiesta and she revealed that she still hasn’t watched last weeks shocking end of the HBO series. Realizing she was at risk of a spoiler, she raised her hands, yelling, “Don’t tell me anything I place of protection’t seen it yet!”

WINEHOUSE SESSIONS

Amy Winehouse was there in spirit as the Libertines recorded their latest album. The group’s members revealed they lived in a Thai recording studio while recording, and kept a photo of their late friend taped up in the studio with them. The Libertines’ front man, Pete Doherty, tells NME magazine: “The studio was quite sparsely decorated, but we did have a front cover of Amy Winehouse over the mixing desk the whole time. ”

DREW’S A FREQUENT FRYER

It’s French fries for Drew Barrymore and she won’t deny it. The actress and mom of two (above) doesn’t stick to the old Hollywood undernourishment diet, and says fries are her favorite indulgence. “I’m a French fry girl. There’s no fry I deny. Wow, I’ve never said that before, but I might just make it my new phrase,” she says in the new Redbook. She also says she does her makeup on the glide sometimes. “I’ve done my face in my car’s rear-view mirror, in an elevator; you name it.”
