Babu Owino Forks Out Ksh220,000 To Bail Out Arrested Students

It has become normal nowadays for students from University of Nairobi to protest in the streets of Nairobi due to disbursement of HELB loan funds into their bank accounts. This has happened a lot under the leadership of Babu Owino.

Earlier this week students went to protest on Uhuru Highway and the long arm of the law was ready for them. 11 of them were arrested and exciting with malicious hurt of material goods.

SONU Chairman Babu Owino swang in action and went into his deep pockets to remove a cash bail of Ksh20,000 for each after they all denied charges against them at Milimani Court. Hearing has been set at October 7.
