Bad Neighbours

Zac Efron versus Seth Rogen may not be the prize fight of the century, but it’s one that generates some knockout laughs in Nicholas Stoller’s comedy about a suburban couple thrown for a fruit loop when a debauched fraternity moves in next door.

Cue all manner of cross-generational hijinks as Efron and Rogen battle to one-up each other with a little help from the latter’s wife (Rose Byrne) and some repurposed airbags. Lisa Kudrow pops up as an uncaring dean in a film that’s amusing enough to mask its malice.
