Benedict Cumberbatch, Sophie Hunter to wed Valentine’s Day

Benedict Cumberbatch will marry his pregnant fiancé on Valentine’s Day.

The “Sherlock” star, who is up for a Best Actor Oscar for his role in “The Imitation Game,” will tie the knot with theatre director Sophie Hunter on the Isle of Wight in the south of England, Us Weekly reported.

The pair only announced their engagement in November, very formally in the Times of London newspaper.

And last month they confirmed they were also expecting their first child.

Cumberbatch, 38, and Hunter, 36, who is also an actress, first met while performing in a 2009 film, “Burlesque Fairytales.”

But, it is not known when they first started dating though they were pictured together last summer at French Open tennis in Paris.

Hunter studied French at Oxford University.

The pair though may have to cut fleeting any honeymoon as Cumberbatch should be on the 2015 Academy Awards’ red carpet on Feb. 22.

He is up against Bradley Cooper, Steve Carrell, Michael Keaton and Eddie Remayne in the Best Actor category.
