Best Looks From Paris Fashion Week Fall 2015

With the Fall 2015 shows currently in full force at Paris Fashion Week, we’re already thinking of upcoming trends for autumn. Luckily, the runways revealed an array of eye-catching styles and colours for the season ahead. At Balmain, we saw vivid pops of yellow, teal and violet, wide waist-cinching belts and dainty accordion pleats. With a mix of structured design and fierce ruffles, looks were a mix of feminine and quirky. Meanwhile, Balenciaga’s Fall 2015 show made a darker, monochromatic fashion statement with oversized dark outerwear, classic tweed, silver touches and round collars. At Christian Dior, the classic little black dress and the flared black skirt received an update from patent leather booties in vibrant colours and perfect with chunky Lucite heels. Oversized outerwear in shades of black, off-white and punchy forest green made a statement, as did pale pastel blouses with sharp embellished collars.

In keeping with the spirit of autumn, fashionistas were treated to long, fringed coats in black and bright red at Lanvin. Menswear inspired pinstriped suits, simple fringed frocks in basic white and black, statement fur outerwear and an unexpected pop of sunny yellow also made a splash. At Giambattista Valli, a pale colour scheme of light brown and off-white and lace-up black suede boots were key trends for Fall 2015 looks. But, funky prints, unexpected floral touches and white lace also made their way onto the airstrip, along with wide panels of vivid blue, red and pink sequins.

While we would have loved to be in the star-studded front row ourselves, there’s no reason why we can’t embrace the spirit of Paris Fashion Week at home without a trip to the fashion hub itself. Here are our favourite looks from the Fall 2015 shows.
