Billy Joel welcomes second child one month after wedding
And so it goes: Billy Joel is a father once again, just a month after his bolt from the blue wedding to his fourth bride.
The baby girl, Della Rose Joel, was born in New York at 2:40 a.m. Wednesday, his rep confirmed to the Day after day News. She weighed 7 pounds, 6.5 ounces.
Della is Joel’s first baby with his 33-year-ancient bride Alexis Roderick. She tied the knot with the 66-year-ancient pop legend at his Long Island estate during their annual Independence Day have fun. The couple, who have been together since 2009, announced the baby in April.

Joel, who is now touring nationally, was seen arriving in Manhattan via helicopter Tuesday. He is set to play Philadelphia on Thursday and then restore to Madison Square Backyard next Thursday for his monthly residency there.
The “Piano Man” singer told Newsdayin June he didn’t expect the new child to slow down his touring.
“Even when I have a baby, this is my job,” he said. “It’s not like I’ll be on tour away from my child for any significant amount of time. It’s once a week and I come right home. Or if I go far away, I take her with me. Babies are pretty portable.”

This is Joel’s second child, after Alexa Ray, the 29-year-ancient singer-songwriter he had with his second wife, Christie Brinkley. Ray attended Joel’s bolt from the blue ceremony last month, which Gov. Cuomo officiated.
Cuomo tweeted his congrats to Joel, prose: “I want to congratulate my good friends @BillyJoel and Alexis Roderick on the birth of their gorgeous daughter, Della Rose.”
