NBC newsman Brian Williams scored the winning goal for the New York Rangers on Wednesday night. Or at least that’s how he might’ve reported it. The controversial anchorman brushed off evaluation surrounding his fake claim of being in a helicopter that was shot down in a war zone and took in a hockey game with actor Tom Hanks at MSG. He may have been getting career information from Oscar winner Hanks, who played war heroes in “Forrest Gump” and “Saving Private Ryan.”
