Britney Spears’ Lingerie Line Launches At NYFW 2014
Britney Spears looked absolutely thrilled at the unveiling of her lingerie line at New York Fashion Week. The Intimate Britney Spears collection is the star’s first venture into designing fashion and it wasn’t a project she took lightly.
“This is something I’ve been effective on for two and a half years,” Spears said on stage after the show. “I’m really, really passionate about this.”
The 32-year-ancient pop star looked splendid in a low-cut orange one-piece as she stood onstage with her models at the New York Public Library. Each of Spears’ lingerie pieces has a vintage panache and come in a range of sizes to fit any woman. The “Toxic” singer stressed the importance of feeling good in what you wear and talked about how she wanted her collection to help women feel just that.
“It is so vital for women to feel confident, sexy and empowered, especially in those private moments with the one they like. The Intimate Britney Spears will do exactly that,” said Spears. “Each line in the collection is gorgeous with vintage-inspired details, and fit for all women. I like feeling sexy, so this is beyond doubt a passion project for me.”
The affordable line of underwear and sleepwear hits stores on Tuesday with items ranging from $ 17 to $ 79.
