Britney Spears: Zoe Saldana’s expecting twins

Britney Spears and Zoe Saldana’s friendship might be a crossroads.

After the “Crossroads” co-stars were seen together at Los Angeles Global Airport on Monday, the “Womanizer” singer was questioned if she would like to work with Saldana again.

“Who knows? That’s a very good thought,” Spears told Entertainment Tonight on Tuesday. “But she’s pregnant with twins right now. So I’m sure she’s got a huge future ahead of her.”

The actress is expecting her first child – or children – with her husband, Italian artist Marco Perego. After months of rumors, the 36-year-ancient actress confirmed her pregnancy in an Aug. 19 video that showed her accepting the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.

A rep for Saldana has yet to respond to the Day after day News’ request for note about Spears’ claim.

The singer’s slip comes not long after she and the “Guardians of the Galaxy” star expressed keenness for each additional.

During an appearance on “Watch What Happens Live” last month, the “Avatar” actress defended her former co-star after a caller questioned her opinion about Spears’ voice on a leaked, non-Auto Tuned track.

“I have a huge amount of respect for Britney Spears,” she said. “I do believe that people and children gravitate to good energy and she’s beyond doubt an abundance of that.”

“@zoesaldana Truly the sweetest, thx 4 the kind terms,” the mother of two responded on Twitter.

“Nothing but splendid memories of effective w u,” Spears added.
