If there’s one place sex is rampant, it’s Hollywood. We hear tales of celebrity hookups every day, but we don’t often hear about stars who’ve abstained from sex. Which celebs have been celibate at some point in their lives?

Some stars like Joe Jonas and Miley Cyrus wore purity rings as teen stars, but matured and started to explore whether these choices really worked for them. Years earlier, Britney Spears and Jessica Simpson particularly touted their virginity during their rise to the top of the pop charts, before settling down with families. In 2012, fashion icon Tim Gunn admitted he hadn’t gotten busy for nearly 30 years after a hurtful breakup, while supermodel Adriana Lima‘s Catholic beliefs led her to wait in anticipation of marriage. Olympian Lolo Jones is still a virgin, and even Paris Hilton tried to go a year without bedding anyone.
