Chad Johnson, formally Chad Ochocinco, was sentenced to 30 days in jail after infuriating a judge during a plea bargaining arrangement.

Chad was set to only get test after her had a corporal altercation with his new wife, Evelyn Lozada, during which he allegedly headbutted her. She filed for divorced three days later.

But, after he was questioned by the judge if he was satisfied with his lawyer, Chad responded with a compliment usually seen in the NFL: a pat on the butt.

Everyone in the courtroom had a chuckle – except for Broward County Circuit Judge Kathleen McHugh. “I don’t know that you’re taking this whole thing seriously. I just saw you slap your attorney on the backside. Is there something amusing about this? The whole courtroom was laughing. I’m not vacant to accept these plea negotiations. This isn’t a joke.”

McHugh could have given Chad up to a year in jail for his altercation with his wife. Instead, he got 30 days. “It’s not the first time he’s behaved that way in my courtroom,” the judge later said.

After his sentencing, Johnson took to his Twitter.com page to tell fans, “Like me through the excellent and the terrible because I’m gone like you regardless… See you in 30.”
