Chris Brown denied entry into Canada

R&B singer Chris Brown was denied access into Canada Tuesday, prompting the Grammy Award-winner to cancel a pair of tour dates.
The “Global Like” singer was shown none by the Canadian regime, which confirmed the snub and said Brown can apply to restore at a later date.
“The good people of the Canadian regime wouldn’t allow me access. I’ll be back this summer and will hopefully see all my Canadian fans!” Brown said in a tweet that was later deleted.
Andrew Wallace/Reuters The Grammy-winning R&B singer was scheduled to perform at the Bell Centre in Montreal on Tuesday and the Air Canada Centre in Toronto on Wednesday night. Brown’s “Between the Sheets” tour with singer Trey Songz had two stops north of the border. But their scheduled performance Tuesday at Montreal’s Bell Centre was cancelled along with Wednesday show at Toronto’s Air Canada Centre.
“Frustration. In Montreal with nothing to do. Bulls—…” Trey Songz tweeted Tuesday from Montreal.
Live State, the promoter, said in a statement that “due to immigration issues” the shows have been given up for lost and refunds are available at the point of buy.

Brown was jailed for nearly three months last year for violating his test by getting into an altercation further than a Washington hotel the previous year. He was on test after he attacked pop singer Rihanna, his then-girlfriend, before the 2009 Grammy Awards.
The United Kingdom denied Brown access into the country in 2010, forcing him to miss four shows. The British regime’s Home Office said then that Brown had been refused a visa because of his past criminal record.
Stephane Malepart, a spokesman for Canada Border Services, said the country’s privacy act prevents him from commenting on any individual case, but said several factors are used in determining admissibility, including involvement in criminal activity.
