CNN’s Chris Cuomo on duty, just like dad

There was little time to grieve as CNN’s Chris Cuomo left for Paris to cover terror attacks one day after dad Mario Cuomo’s funeral.

Still-mournfulChris Cuomo was questioned by CNN to glide to Paris to cover the terrorist attack the day after his father Mario Cuomo’s funeral. The news anchor accepted the assignment after an OK from his mom.

“He had gone back to work right after the funeral and CNN questioned him to go to Paris right away, and his mother told him, ‘Your father would have wanted you to do your job,’ and, ‘We have your father’s work ethic, go,’ ” a source accurate to the family tells Confidenti@l.

Chris, a pallbearer at his father’s funeral at St. Ignatius Loyola Church on Park Ave., lives accurate to his mom on the East Side and often checks in on her, we’re told.

“For someone like Chris, work is taking his mind off the loss,” says our insider. “The family is doing OK, but his mom is having the toughest time. She lost her husband, she’s living by herself now, and she feels lonely.”

Describing his parents’ like in the eulogy, Chris’ brother, Gov. Andrew Cuomo, said it was a “nearly 60-year like affair.”

The Cuomos’ like “was not a phony made-for-TV romance, but a real-life partnership built on respect, like and tolerance,” he told the group of mourners.

On Friday, Chris’ wife of 11 years, Christina Greeven Cuomo, editor of Manhattan magazine, Instagrammed a picture of her father-in-law and her son, saying “We miss you, Mario.”

The day Chris returned to work at the cable network, he produced a loving tribute to his dad with home videos, saying, “Most vital about my father … the spirit of his message endures in us. What really matters has certainly been passed on to me, my siblings and our kids, and that was pop’s like. … His unique sense of humor, how to be.

“A handshake is firm, a tie is tied in a Windsor knot, a man shines his own shoes and does so often,” said Chris. “He always has cash and does not go Dutch. The man himself is gone, the father I went to in times of distress is gone.”

BIG BEN OK WITH ‘GONE’ NUDITY

“Gone Girl” actress Missi Pyle claims Ben Affleck knew that his “manhood” would be seen in the blockbuster hit, and that he had no problem with showing off. “In a movie, if they are like, ‘Do you mind being nude; we are not going to show it,’ they are going to show it. STYLES, DORNAN TAKE THEIR LEAVE

One Management’s Aggravate Styles and “Fifty Shades of Grey” star Jamie Dornan were both hanging out at Craig’s Restaurant in West Hollywood recently, but used different exit strategies when leaving. “Aggravate went out of his way to go through the back door so he wouldn’t have to deal with the onslaught of onlookers. The restaurant staffers helped him,” says one eyewitness. Dornan (inset), but, went out the front. And Sissy Spacek happily used the front door to go inside for dinner that same night.

Kate Walsh stunned partygoers in a ­futuristic red plastic dress at the Audi Golden Globes have fun. The actress said she felt like she was still on vacation in the Caribbean and just “spaced out,” especially when it came to fitting into the dress. “It took a village. It had a jet-propulsion pack inside. It is not plastic, it is fabric, and I had a couple of sturdy hands get me in there,” she joked.

PARTY BLITZ STIRS GLOBAL SWARMING

The parties have already kicked off for Sunday night’s Golden Globes, with Audi hosting a bash at Cecconi’s West Hollywood, where Naomi Watts and her long-term baby daddy, Liev Schreiber, showed “constant PDA” throughout the evening.

“They looked very much in like. It was their anniversary,” one guest tells Confidenti@l. Edward Norton and Christoph Waltz were blemished saying hi to Watts, then laughed and chatted the night away while Jessica Chastain hung out with some gal pals. “At the end of the night, Christopher and Naomi exchanged numbers,” says our spy.

Norton was overheard gushing about how HBO’s “Right Detective” was his favorite TV show of the year, and saying how much he “likes” his old friend Woody Harrelson.

Maggie Grace stunned in a black lace dress and shiny red hair, which we hear she had dyed just before arriving. Kate Walsh, Jessica Szohr and “Entourage” star Perrey Reeves and Jamie Chung made friends, and Cheryl Burke and Louise Roe networked “nonstop” with industry insiders and agents. “They were all dancing to DJ Michelle Pesce,” says our insider. “Perrey was elated by her recent engagement. She stayed attached to her fiancé, Aaron Fox, all night, sharing their proposal report with guests.”

GWYN’S BIG GIVEAWAY

lWorkout queen Tracy Anderson says pal Gwyneth Paltrow is a giver. “We have splendid compassion for one another, but it’s like when you know the truth and you know that the way you behave is for the greater good of humanity. then it’s like, OK,” she clarified. “There’s going to be haters. … The more she tries to give, the more hits she takes from people who aren’t willing to accept that she’s trying to give.”

Jake Gyllenhaal looks like a pro when it comes to bundling up. The “Nightcrawler” actor, in New York for the Broadway play “Constellations” with Ruth Wilson, took his substantial German shepherd Atticus for a stroll around the city so he could do his business.

CRUZ DINNER’S THE LATEST THING

Following a Knicks game at Madison Square backyard, New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz, along with a large group of pals, hit Sweet Chick LES around 11:30 p.m. to grab a late meal. Cruz, rocking a white hoodie, black jeans and a pair of “Legend Blue” Air Jordan 4’s, sat with his group at the back of the restaurant to get more space. They chowed down on kale BLT salad, pork belly nuggets and pork sliders.
