Despicable Me and fashion lovers can expect the best of both worlds soon! A group of fashion designers have collaborated together to launch a capsule clothing and garnishing collection featuring the lovable yellow creatures.

Illumination Entertainment as well as Universal Partnerships & Licensing, have partnered with designers Giles Deacon, Rupert Sanderson, Piers Atkinson and more to make a minion-inspired fashion line.

The line, called the Minions Bello Yellow Collection, (“bello” meaning “hello” in Minion language) has been launched to celebrate the prequel “Minions” which is set to hit the big screens in June.

But not to worry fashionista’s! According to wwd.com, Executive vice head at Universal Partnerships & Licensing, Jamie Stevens has said that these designs have been intended to appeal both young and adult fans.

“We took inspiration from the London setting of the film and partnered with several U.K. designers we felt could accurately turn the sweet and subversive personality of the Minions to fashion.”

Some pieces include a Rupert Sanderson high heel pump that has been designed with a Minions print, Piers Atkinson minion inspired hats, sweatshirts and denim with Minions on them as well as Giles Deacon dresses and T-shirts complimented with a “Minion” touch.

The film’s set in Sixties London and New York, following the Minions voyage through time had inspired Deacon to make a more sixties look.

Check out the cute line set to launch on June 11th right after the London premiere. It will be available in London and Manchester first and will then roll out worldwide starting in July.
