Drake’s Apple Jacket Is An Internet Sensation

At the 2015 Apple Worldwide Developers Conference in San Francisco, Drake had a surprising fashion moment as he came on stage to introduce the brand’s new Apple Composition service.

Although style and technology don’t always go hand in hand, the 28-year-ancient Jungle rapper stepped out in a wool varsity jacket with a contrasting brown leather collar and sleeves. The vintage jacket was formerly designed for Apple employees during the 1980s and 1990s, but made an unexpected restore to the focus at the annual conference.

According to GQ, a similar jacket is currently available on eBay right now for $ 500. In fact, the Toronto-born rap star even admitted that he used the World Wide Web to track down his latest fashion find.

“I bought this vintage Apple employee’s jacket using this tool called the internet,” said Drake.

Although we’ve all heard of wearables like the Apple Watch, we’re not sure if the tech gurus at Apple were even attentive that they were making a fashion statement in the first place! While the oversized fit and faded brown shade may not be the latest menswear trend off the airstrip, Drake still manages to look sharp in his Apple jacket.
