Drew Carey to donate $10,000 to catch Ice Bucket Challenge pranksters

Drew Carey is taking the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge to task with a $ 10,000 donation.

But the “Fee is Right” host isn’t forking over the funds for the overall produce. Instead he wants justice brought against the teens responsible for the horrible practical joke against an autistic boy.

“WTF? Just saw this. Horrendous,” he tweeted Friday. “These kids should be arrested and expelled.”

Carey was referring to the practical joke involving a 15-year-ancient autistic boy who plotting he was participating in the Ice Bucket Challenge. After disrobing down to only his fighter briefs, the boy was humiliated when he was allegedly drenched in urine, feces and cigarette butts.

The whole incident was captured on the unidentified Ohio boy’s cellphone and the culprits posted the clip to Instagram.

“Once we found out about it, we were just horrified,” his mother Diane told Fox affiliate WJW on Wednesday. “I want these kids held accountable for what they did to him and they targeted a bigwig who just didn’t really know what was going on.”

Carey shares in her rage and is backing his dismay with a large sum of reward money.

“If the Bay Village PD wants to start a reward fund to find who did this, friend me,” he wrote. “I’ll donate $ 10,000.”

In addition, the 56-year-ancient TV personality also promised to donate the same amount to Autism Speaks if police find the culprits without needing the reward money.

“The bucket challenge is supposed to be raising awareness for this disease and now they’ve turned it into a sick joke,” Diane added, about the challenge bringing awareness to Lou Gehrig’s Disease.
