The 46-year-ancient daughter to the late comedian makes her first public appearance on E!’s “Fashion Police: Celebrating Joan” special Friday and reveals the note she received from the White Household.

“Cooper and I have found ourselves humbled by the expression of like, support, and prayers we have received from around the world,” Rivers said in a statement on Sept. 4 after Joan’s passing.

“They have been heard and appreciated. My mother’s greatest joy in life was to make people laugh. Although that is hard to do right now, I know her final wish would be that we restore to laughing soon.”

The E! network will play an all-day “Fashion Police” marathon honoring Joan as Melissa, Kelly Osbourne, Giuliana Rancic and George Kotsiopoulos will be on hand to celebrate her life and the lasting impact she left during her six-decade long career in entertainment.
