Fall Colour Trend: Oxblood

cxcIt was all the rage in beauty last fall/winter, but now Oxblood is trending in fashion as well. Pantone’s Fashion Colour Report for fall 2014 named Sangria a top colour, and we like this exotic red update for our wardrobe too. No matter if it’s dressed up or down, the vampy shade adds a luxe feel to any outfit. Look for the sultry hue in leathers, bags and shoes, as well as chunky knits, pea coats and leggings.

The wine colour goes well with another big fall shade—navy blue—so try pairing a burgundy blazer with some dark denim, or wine coloured pants with dark blue pumps. Complement the look with a hit of smoky red on your lips, tips or lids to polish off the look.
