Fergie continues to defend ‘best friend’ Prince Andrew

He’s her ex-husband, but he’s still her prince.
The Duchess of York took to the American airwaves on Tuesday to defend Prince Andrew against allegations that he repeatedly bedded a perv pal’s underage “sex slave.”
“It is defamation of character. As a splendid father and a humongously good man and all the work he does for Britain, I won’t stand by and let him have his character defamed to this level,” Sarah (Fergie) Ferguson told Matt Lauer on NBC News’ “Today” show.
“I won’t stand by, because I know what it feels like to have salacious lies made up about you and not support him so publicly,” she said, referring to her own money and sex scandals over the year.
Ferguson divorced “Randy Andy” in 1996 after 10 years of marriage, but told Lauer he was her “best friend” and the “best ex-husband ever.”

In court filings last month, Andrew, who’s fifth in line to the British throne, was accused of repeatedly bedding a 17-year-ancient “masseuse” effective for freaky financier Jeffrey Epstein.
Virginia Roberts, now 31, says convicted sex offender Epstein “mandatory” her to have sex with his pal on three break occasions.
“They are just shockingly accusatory allegations, which I don’t think it is right,” said Ferguson, 55.
She said she was standing by Buckingham Palace’s total denial of the charges, but wouldn’t say whether she’d spoken to her ex about the allegations or if he knew Roberts, who he was once pictured with.

Ferguson also spoke out in defense of her ex — and the father of their two children — to British reporters last week.
“He is the greatest man there is. It was the finest moment of my life in 1986 when I married him. He is a splendid man, the best man in the world,” she said then.
The Duchess also spoke to “Today” about her well-chronicled weight issues and said she’d lost 55 pounds in the past year.
“I’ve been a comfort eater since I was about 12 years old and I used food as my friend. In fact, the size of my a– probably saved my life … because had I not really just chosen food as my friend, I would have chosen something else,” she said. “I ate to compensate.”
