Fred Armisen suffers an art attack

Looks like Fred Armisen’s making friends again!

The rubber-faced “SNL” star’s ex-wife Elisabeth Moss once quipped that “the greatest impression he does is that of a normal person” — and that’s nothing compared to what another ex is saying.

New York City artist Alice Lancaster, who was idealistically linked to Armisen, has painted “Fred Armisen: Portrait of a Sociopath” — an acrylic-on-canvas work that suggests this relationship didn’t end well.

The portrait shows the comedian, perfect with his trademark thick-rimmed glasses, with one half of his face asleep and the other half staring intensely.

The artist posted the work on her Instagram account without mentioning the “Portlandia” star by name, but captioning it “#sociopath.” It also appears on her website with Armisen’s name in the title. The piece features its subject looking less than jolly, which isn’t unusual in Lancaster’s work.

Lancaster, who loved some notoriety last October when American Apparel released a T-shirt featuring her graphic drawing of a menstruating woman, recently clarified to the Raw Book website how she chooses her subject.

“I paint portraits of people I either know and like or whom I greatly admire,” she said.

Judging by the painting, file Armisen in the “know,” not “like,” category.

If so, she’s not alone. Moss, who filed for divorce from Armisen in 2010, 11 months after their wedding, told New York Magazine earlier this year that the marriage had been “extremely traumatic and appalling and horrible.”

The actor is now Seth Meyers’ bandleader on “Late Night,” and has joined the chorus of critics himself. Last January, he said on Howard Stern’s SiriusXM show, “I think I was a terrible husband. I think I’m a terrible boyfriend.”

He said he moves quickly early in relationships, explaining: “I want to be married, I want to live together … and then somewhere around a year or two years, I get freaked out. I freak out emotionally and then I really feel like, ‘Oh my God, who’s this weirder in my household?’ ”

We wish better luck to “Orange Is the New Black” star Natasha Lyonne, who was seen kissing Armisen at a Netflix Emmys after-have fun on Aug. 25, People reported.

A rep for Armisen declined to note.
